Sherry, you've been one of my most loyal friends here on the Vine. Reading your articles is definitely a thought provoker. I love how you get people thinking whether they want to or not! It's a rare person that has this gift. Thank you for everything that you do and keep 'em coming!

Just finished reading all the comments seemingly mostly from the "righties" who are complaining about the "lefties" complaing and running scared. As I recall events in the recent past, there is a station on TV that began bashing the dems and backing the repubs with their money, etc. It's about time we have MSNBC to counter that station. What is wrong with competition? If I remember my history, our country's downfall began with the election of Ronald Reagan as President. He began to tear down our structure to the point that now we have a country under the cobtrol of corporations and the righties seem to think it's okay for our workers to work for peanuts. The middle class is the group that keeps the economy strong and if they don't have jobs, or must work several jobs to support a family, our eonomy will suffer, as it is right now. It took ten years and a war to get out of the Great Depression and all of you are complaining because we are in a terrible slump now. Come on. Give me a break. Stop whining all of you, repubs AND dems. Begin by working together to get our great country back on its feet. One party alone cannot accomplish this -- it will take all of us. So, WAKE UP, forget the hate and let's get busy making the country as great as it used to be. I cry over all this stupidity going on. It's so childish. Aren't we grown ups with minds? So. use them.
